Last Day

Today marks my last day of service as an executive assistant at ITE. My course has ended and i'll be attending a graduating ceremony soon. Im so sad to leave that place. Everyone is so nice. Ive learned a lot, made friends and gained very valuable experience. Im sure gonna miss everyone and my workplace. Well, that's why its call life. We cant expect to stay permanent at a certain place.This life of ours on earth is temporary too. Nothing is forever.

At 11 am i got a surprise from all staff. The director of the department i work in came and announced, "who's last day is it today?" i stood up and the whole department clapped. In his hands was a big parcel.I was so touched and speechless.The only words that came out from my mouth was 'THANK YOU' 'THANK YOU SO MUCH' At 12 noon, i was treated to lunch a scrumptious meal i must say. There was rice, fish head curry, oat prawns. hotplate beancurd and the list goes on.

After lunch, my supervisor asked me to unwrap the present.So i did. I was so shocked at the unexpected present. There was a big box of chocolates but the highlight of the present was a box with the label Baby-G printed on it.I was so touched and speechless. All the staff were so kind to have actually chipped in to buy me a Casio Baby-G watch which i assume cost $100 and more since its the latest model and since i too have a Baby-G.

Alhamdulillah Allah for all the rezeki that you have bestowed upon me.
