catz

So, the house is now cat free. Bobo the cat with black and white fur, just left and never came home. Mima, the white cat with brown spots, was found dead at 12.30am. I am sad. But luckily there are videos and photos to accompany our lonely days and be kept as wonderful memories.

plan

Planning for an event can be frustrating sometimes, especially when planning a reunion for a bunch of twenty year old's with different schedules and are meeting each other for the first time in 8 years.Everyone wants to go but each of them have different 'free' days.I 'HAD' to be the one volunteering to plan this event, so its partially my fault for causing stress to myself.I feel like giving up, but i just cant because eventually someone has to do it rather than just sit around and wait.Ive been wanting to take up a course in event management and having an experience like this, i guess I'll think twice.

Luckily someone has offered to help. Thank you.

nujood

Book review

Recently i read this book. Nujood Ali was only 10 years of age when her parents arranged a marriage to a man in his 30's. Regularly beaten by her in-laws, raped by her husband, she escaped on April 2, 2008, only two months after the wedding. On the advice of the second wife of her father, she went directly to court to seek a divorce. After one half a day of waiting, she was finally noticed by the judge, Mohammed al-għadha who took it upon himself to host her temporarily and had her father and husband taken into custody.[6]- Wikipedia

" i am a simple girl who has always obeyed the orders of my father and brothers.Since forever, I have learned to say yes to everything.Today i have decided to say no."
-Nujood

Im very proud of Nujood for her courage and at the same time, feel sad and sorry for what she has to go through. This book has opened my eyes to witness the truth about what is happening around the world. Alhamdulillah she is going through a better life now.I hope and pray that there will be a stop to child marriages.

6/4

I was thinking about my past, wondering how my ex classmates were doing. So after numerous failed and 'frantic' searches via Facebook, i finally gave up.Allah is great. My prayers has been granted...

I guess one advantage of having a Facebook account is to be able to connect with friends;old, new and long lost. So, a dear friend of mine decided to upload a class photo of when we were in primary 6 and voilà! a reunion is on the way. Im so happy and excited. But im not sure how i'll react when we meet 'live' because i was the girl with few words in class, the quiet and shy one, the 'loner'. Well i guess, time past, people change and things may be different.

Its time to shed some weight, get back into shape and do whatever it takes to get rid of my acne. Then, i shall go.... SHOPPING(white chicks version).

Toodles =P

Makanan

Alhamdulillah, finally after craving for so long, i got my long awaited Ramly burger.
In my opinion, I Think Ramly Burger is the most delicious burger ive ever tasted. Thank you Mr Ramly for creating the burger and thank you Allah for giving this person the inspiration to create it.

Oh, and magnum gold ice cream is pure genius. I'm never a fan of magnum. But the 'gold' coating on magnum gold looks so real. Guess with the advanced technology anything is possible.

That's all for now.

Bye.

lonely.

I guess when people grow up, they are attached to more responsibilities thus the busy schedule and lesser time for family. Everyone's been so so busy and there's been lesser conversations.Since i have a very flexible schedule, im at home most of the time. Its getting so boring and im starting to feel lonely. Even on weekends the two days i look forward to, have been the same lately. Going out and spending time with the family is getting less frequent now. Everyone is too busy with life even on weekends they are occupied or lazy to go out cause they need the rest.I cant always be spending time with friends, they have their own life.I wished i was still a kid when holidays, meant holidays and my parents will always bring us on short trips across the causeway.

Going out alone is fun, but too much 'me' time can be so boring. One of the reason i didnt want to work this year was because,i wanted to spend my last phase of being a teen before im bombarded with responsibilities of an adult. I wanted to remember my teens and not look back with regret in the future.I guess, id better change my mundane lifestyle and find something 'PRODUCTIVE' to do and get rid of this 'lonely' feeling.

Sigh.

W.O.M.E.N

To all the women, this might cheer you up.

Hadith, Rasulullah sallallahu alaihi wasallam states: "The woman who performs her five daily salâh, observes fasting during the month of Ramadhân, guards her chastity and obeys her husband, may enter paradise from whichever door she pleases (in other words, all eight doors of paradise will be opened for her)." This implies that if she is mindful of the compulsory injunctions of religion, there is no need for her to toil hard in pursuing taxing exercises of ibâdat (worship). This little effort will earn her the same ranks as those who perform exerting acts of ibâdat. These are amongst the bounties of Allâh Ta'âla.

so, siapa nak masuk syurga angkat tangan! i sure do..

bad influence

People should really consider the consequences of their actions before doing something. Like seriously! When i view photos of friends on Facebook, it really saddens me when i see photos of them proudly posing with bottles of alcoholic beverages, clubbing and wearing clothes that are either too short or too tight. It saddens me because these people are Muslims.Say in 10-20 years time when most of them become parents and have a family of their own, it will be their turn to educate their children and instill good character to their children.

With the ever changing and advanced technology, there's a chance that their children will be able to get hold of their parents photos of their teens.Aint it gonna be embarrassing? what if their children grow up following their footsteps or (nauzubillah) be worst than their parents? When trouble occurs, the parents blame their children for mixing with the bad company, and the children blame their parents, quoting their parents past mistakes. "if my parents can have a havoc lifestyle, why cant i?" so who are we to blame? before we set a bad a bad example to future generations, i suggest we change before situations get worst. If all else fail, there's always the DELETE button and something called SECRET.
