This morning as i was flipping through the pages of the malay newspaper, i decided to browse through the obituary section.A picture caught my eye. My classmate from primary school has just passed away.The saddest thing is she passed away on her 20th birthday. Exactly 20 years of life.
Im saddened by the unexpected news eventhough i wasnt really close and i never knew
much about her.It saddens me and at the same time scares me because at 20, i dont think i have accomplished much here or for the hereafter. How much good deeds have i done? how much sins have i committed? and the deeds that i do, is it with pure sincerity? Will i ever be ready when the angel of death comes to greet me?How will i fare in the hereafter. Will it be good or bad news?
My friend has passed away and my condolences goes to her family. Life is short.We may never know when our time will come.Treasure the precious time that we have now before time runs out.
