I came across a television programme which featured new inventions which we will see and probably use in the future. And one of the items featured was the television which shows pictures in 3D. wow! how cool can that get? it has always been 3D movies, but now we can watch television shows in 3D and in the comfort of our own home.How convenient.
A few days back i was having my usual 'lepak' sessions with my friends,one of them told me that she saw the '3D TV' in an electronic store being sold.
The next day, a brochure on the '3D TV' was sent to us along with the newspapers.
so i guess, we might switch to '3D TV' soon? or maybe '3D computers' in the near future.
Imagine the horror and action movies that we can watch in 3D. Life wouldnt be as BORING.
But imagine the danger.How about those sleazy ads or shows with bikini clad women in 3D? or if a 3D computer was created and our children had access to restricted sites which allow the viewing of porn videos in 3D?
Obviously we dont have the power to stop it,but we have the power to control or restrict our children and protect them from the 'dangers' of technology.
Modern technology like the computer and television has its advantages and disadvantages. It makes our lives easier,its more convenient and saves time. Also when used properly, it can be viewed as providing valuable information eg; documentaries and the internet.
the more modern we get, the more challenges we face especially when the next generation gets exposed to all sorts of things.Its up to us on how we are going to solve it.
